#### Description

This Dimension explores 6 traits that together describe our basic interests as it relates to career choice. Based on the Holland Code model, the six traits are Realistic, Artistic, Investigative, Social, Enterprising and Conventional. Our mix of basic interests is highly predictive of what careers we are likely to enjoy and excel at. For instance, someone who is high on enterprising and conventional will be interested in traditional business-related careers and value things like power, status, and financial success. On the other hand, someone who is high on realistic and artistic will be more interested in creative and hands-on careers, such as engineering or the arts, and value things like innovation, independence, and self-expression.
